Hello, i'm Rami
Senior computer science student at AUB
Senior computer science student at AUB
I am a senior Computer Science student at the American University of Beirut and a recipient of the HES full scholarship, with a strong passion for technology and continuous learning. I started coding at the age of 13, and since then, I have continued to develop my skills both inside and outside the university. I regularly take courses through platforms such as Udemy to explore new technologies and expand my knowledge beyond the university curriculum. Alongside my studies, I have gained practical experience working part-time with AUB IT and completing an internship at Murex.
Beyond academics, I am actively involved in volunteering, community work, and filmmaking. With the Lebanese Red Cross Youth, I currently serve as a Youth and Health Committee Leader in Chouf and previously served as the Committee Public Relations Officer. I am also an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the Red Cross EMS.
I am a member and part of the IT team at the Batloun Sport and Culture Club, where I am developing the club’s website as part of my community-based internship.
Outside of volunteering, filmmaking is one of my main hobbies. While volunteering with AMURT, I took a short filmmaking course and created a short film about mental health that was screened at the Baakleen National Library. I continue to explore filmmaking and create short films in my free time.
